Ginkgo Biloba Archival Protographic Project
The Ginkgo Biloba Archival Protographic Project is a collection of black and white scans of the ancient Ginko Biloba tree, captured using Dall-E’s latest artificial intelligence-generated technology.
The project aims to preserve and showcase the beauty and meaning of this unique species, which has existed for over 200 million years. The scans highlight the intricate details and textures of the leaves of Ginkgo Biloba. The use of black and white gives the images a timeless aesthetic appearance, emphasising the bond of the tree with the past and its lasting presence in the present. The project is not only a visual tribute to Ginkgo Biloba, but also a reminder of the importance of preserving and protecting our natural and pharmaceutical heritage for future generations.
