The project involves the local development of a smart voice assistant designed to support bartenders in their daily operations. This conversational voice chatbot is tailored for bar environments and allows users to manage orders, get product recommendations, consult recipes, access promotional support, and engage with brand initiatives — all through voice commands.
A custom wake word detection system for “Hey Cynar” has been implemented, enabling hands-free voice activation. This allows the assistant to passively listen and respond only when needed, ensuring a seamless and natural user experience. All orders processed through the assistant are logged and accessible via a dedicated backoffice interface, allowing staff or managers to monitor operations and analyze usage data.

The entire system runs locally, with no reliance on external cloud services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and full privacy protection. To complement the software, a physical demo of the device was created using 3D printing, providing a tangible preview of the final product design
